I will provide here descriptions of some of the myths about personal health and research being propagated in the media.
Myth propagation occurs for many reasons, the most important contributing factors being limited information, limited or misunderstanding, and lobbying by parties with other interests than your health. I have written information sheets and articles on Mad Cow Disease, Bird Flu, Gardasil (cervical cancer vaccine), and am working on the recent advertising push of pharmaceuticals and how they are being recalled for threatening human life.
